A Poem From Oromos To Hachalu
Hachalu Hundessa, a voice for the people,
Singing songs of freedom, with lyrics that were simple,
His music, a melody, that spoke of truth,
His message, a call, for the Oromo youth.
With His angelic voice he sang of love,
Of hope and resilience, from the heavens above,
His voice, a powerful force, that echoed loud,
A symbol of pride, in the Oromo crowd.
He stood for the rights, of his people,
For freedom and justice, he would always steeple,
His activism, a fire, that burned bright,
For the Oromo people, he would always fight.
Hachalu Hundessa, a shining star,
A guide for the future, from near and far,
His memory, a light, that will never dim,
His legacy, a treasure, that will always brim.
With sadness we say goodbye,
But his spirit and music will never die,
Hachalu Hundessa, forever in our hearts,
A true Oromo hero, who made a mark.
